Privacy statement of IDzap.com        

This statement discloses the privacy practices for the idzap.com web site. When you visit the IDzap Web site, you can expect to be notified of: What personally identifiable information of yours is collected; What organization is collecting the information; How the information is used; With whom the information may be shared; What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information; What kind of security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse of alteration of information under the company's control; and How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

  • IDzap.com provides anonymous access to the world wide web including web surfing, secure email, and others.

  • We collect user email address during the registration process of the IDzap free anonymous browsing service. The email is only used for technical support purposes.

  • The IDzap servers log IP addresses and access times in aggregate for traffic monitoring purposes. We log pages visited only for the purpose of investigations in case we receive report of abusive use of our service.

  • For users who want to establish paid accounts with us, we will collect payment information if the user pays by credit card. This is done using an SSL-enabled secure server. The information will be used only for conducting business between a user and IDzap. If the user does not want to provide any specific payment information, the user can prepay by sending us a money order. We use Verisign to process the credit card payments. Information including name, address, credit card number and expiration date are sent to Verisign in order to process credit card transactions. Questions on how Verisign uses the information other than to process credit card transactions should be addressed to Verisign.

  • IDzap employees are familiar with our security procedures and will act accordingly. We deliver a set of specific procedures to employees who handle sensitive information. User login information is stored in databse servers that are password protected. Access to database is restricted to a limited number of employees who have special passwords. We remove credit card numbers as soon as a transaction is completed.

  • We will not share or sell any user specific information to anyone outside of IDzap.com.

  • We will pass third party cookies to the user. These cookies belong to the third party and they might be tied back to the user's personalally identifiable information. However, the user has a choice of blocking these cookies if desired. We have advertisements on our home page where the ad would use cookies. The cookie is used for storing order information to the product/service, and for monitoring traffic in aggregate. IDzap also uses a cookie solely for authentication purposes, and the user also has a choice of blocking this cookie if desired.

  • User information such as updated email address can be corrected/changed by sending us an email message.

  • There are links from the IDzap pages to other web sites. The other sites have their own privacy policy. IDzap is not responsible for the privacy policies of the web sites not owned by IDzap. We encourage the user to read the privacy policies of these linked sites, because their privacy practices may differ from ours.
